  • Overview

    Process engineering lead and general internal process engineering team member for EPC projects from FEED through detailed engineering to commissioning and post start up activities. Support proposal and estimating activities for EPC and FEED projects. Assist with the development and maintenance of Saulsbury general process engineering tools, procedures and best practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Complies with Saulsbury, client, and industrial safety best practices.
    • Work within multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to execute design and engineering on and related projects.
    • Generate design deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, process simulations, engineering calculations, reports and datasheets.
    • Candidate will be able to act as a Lead Process Engineer or as a member of a process engineering team, working on the process design of assigned engineering projects.
    • Generate engineering deliverables for projects, working within strict budget and schedule constraints to execute the process engineering scope.
    • Develop and maintain process calculation tools and process engineering procedures.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years process engineering experience in refining or petrochemicals, GTL experience and plant experience a plus.
    • Experience in distillation system design and fixed bed reaction systems.
    • Strong process simulation background (Aspen HYSYS).
    • Two plus years as a process engineering lead on EPC projects.
    • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
    • Deep understanding of core process engineering deliverable development:

                 - PFD,

                 - HMB,
                 - P&ID,
                 - Simulation development
                 - Instrumentation design and                 application,
                 - Equipment sizing,
                 - Safety relief system                             development,
                 - Flare system design,
                 - Pressure relief studies and                   PSV sizing,
                 - Utilities system design.

    • PSM – PHA experience and process understanding

                 - HAZOP,
                 - LOPA,
                 - MOC,

                 - Facilities Siting.

    • Professional engineering license in Texas preferred
