  • Overview

    Supports field and regional office operations by setting-up office; providing timekeeping; payroll, and HR support.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide timekeeping and payroll support to multiple projects and corporate payroll
    • Balancing reported time entered in Novatime
    • Sets-up field or regional office, interfaces with Supply Chain and Accounting departments for all procurement, contracting, sub-contracting, and accounting activities.
    • Processing payroll additions and wage deductions
    • May be responsible for providing the orientation, onboarding, and training for craft and staff employees in the regional office
    • Responsible for data entry, document uploading, and system maintenance for applicable HR, Accounting, and Procurement Systems. Spectrum, Workday, ISN, Veriforce, etc
    • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
    • Processing child support payments to multi-states
    • Processing payroll garnishments
    • Assist with training field clerks in payroll and timekeeping duties
    • Act as a backup timekeeper when required
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent computer skills, Excel software experience a plus
    • Detail oriented, accurate
    • Punctuality and attendance is critical
    • Ability to work and execute work under strict deadlines
    • Maintain confidentiality of information
    • Work effectively as a team in a fast paced environment
    • Will be required to travel to project or regional offices to provide support
    • Ability to stand, walk, or sit 1/3 to 2/3’s of the scheduled work shift
    • Ability to stoop, kneel, walk upstairs, talk and hear
    • Ability to reach with hands and arms, work with hands and fingers, and carry between 5 and 15 pounds periodically through the work shift
    • Ability to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, compute, evaluate and compile materials during the work shift
    • Office environment – indoor with low to moderate levels of noise
