Manage the Quality Control Program for the Field Services Division reporting administratively to the (Division) VP Construction and functionally to the (corporate) Sr. Director Quality.
Implement and manage a multi-discipline Quality Control program for the Southwest Division operating from Odessa Texas.
Selects, coordinates assignment of and manages all Quality Personnel who perform audit, inspection, surveillance, and/or testing activities for projects executed within the division.
Effectively interprets contract quality requirements to establish inspection, testing and quality service activities for projects.
Interfaces with corporate advisors for technical support in welding, coating, civil, electrical, instrumentation, documentation and other quality related practices and applications and keeps the corporate advisors informed of issues, challenges and opportunities.
Prepares and distributes Bi-Weekly reports to divisional and corporate management and to report on quality related challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Provides training to the division and project personnel regarding the implementation of the quality control program and maintenance of quality related documentation, data and records.
Supports the Business Development team (for Field Services) with information for proposals and project estimates as needed.
Assists Project and Construction Management and Project Quality teams to troubleshoot and assures follow through on resolve of reported quality issues.
Monitors, maintains and reports quality metrics to the corporate quality team.
Attends and participates in periodic corporate quality status and quality program improvement meetings.
Coordinates Third Party Testing agencies for performing NDE services to support projects.
Coordinates with Corporate Advisors and/or with third party agencies for qualifying weld procedures, welder certifications.

8+ years’ experience in construction quality control activities for oil and gas pipeline, pipeline facility and tank battery projects.
5+ years’ experience in a quality management or leadership role in construction quality control activities for oil and gas pipeline, pipeline facility and tank battery projects. (Extensive experience in piping systems testing / turnover package management preferred)
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (preferred)
