    Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the IT Applications\Process Improvement Specialist serves as a consultant to the IT department, evaluating, planning, and implementing improvements in business IT processes and practices. Other aspects of the job can include team building and group facilitation, compiling and tracking data, and preparing training materials.


    • Review existing technology processes, seek opportunities for improvement
    • Work one on one with business leads & team leads as an active partner, discussing existing performance issues, opportunities, will be the “go to guy” for IT process\performance
    • Develop and implement IT process improvements to meet business goals.
    • Identity and manage resources for process improvement projects.
    • Planning and executing process improvement projects.
    • Provide support and guidance to business leaders and teams
    • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and quality
    • Develop process improvement policies and infrastructure
    • Optimize or redesign process flows to meet project requirements
    • Maintain and update all process related documents for reference purposes
    • Train resources in process improvement techniques
    • Monitor process performance and improvements in key metrics
    • Work with management to define the short-term and long-term objectives and potential gains


    • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years* of work-related experience. Directly relevant experience over a sustained period of time may be considered a suitable replacement for the Bachelor’s Degree
    • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of audiences that include but are not limited to executive management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contraVP of ITrs, and other stakeholders. This position will require strong analytical, oral communication, and technical writing abilities
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge, including in depth knowledge of hardware and software applications
    • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
    • Support the projects by providing an environment for the development and professional advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities
