  • Overview



    Work within the I/E & Control Systems Department .Work on control systems engineering and designs for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.


    • Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects
    • Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients
    • Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects.
    • Recommend appropriate staffing for each design activity and determine time to completion for each task on the project schedule
    • Work process quality review, and drawing approval in the capacity of a registered professional engineer in the state the work is being performed
    • Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals
    • Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize department efficiency
    • Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities
    • Self-motivated with ability to work with others


    • S. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required
    • 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred
    • Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development a plus
    • Must have Delta V Programming experience
    • P.E. by exam required with the ability to be licensed in multiple states
    • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

    • Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
