This role will be assisting the Licensing Administrator with conducting searches for various license/permit requirements, in addition to handling creating and maintaining reports.


  • Research: Conduct research as necessary and requested by management to determine current license/permitting requirements based upon job descriptions, job scope of work, and other criteria as appropriate to each state. Research individual state requirements for future work and areas of interest according to management requests.
  • Administration/Management Assistance: Assist management with questions regarding rules, regulations, and laws affecting business licensing. Must be knowledgeable of local, state, and federal laws that govern business licensing. Must be able to obtain information regarding requirements and inform management.
  • Records: Maintain clear and precise records and track all activity concerning licensing. Attention to detail is important, ensuring consistency, recognizing discrepancies, and isolating errors.
  • Reports: Consolidate and condense research into easily understood reports using a variety of formats and software to obtain the desired results.


  • A High School education is required and preferably some licensing experience although not required.
  • Be capable of working 40 hours a week with some intermittent overtime as required by the Licensing Administrator.
  • Must be proficient in excel, word and power point for reports and presentations.
  • Possess the ability to research website and make contact with state entities for business and craft licensing requirements.
