Overview

Reporting to the Craft Services HR Supervisor, the HR Assistant is responsible for administering Saulsbury’s industrial Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) orientation training additionally, this position will support Saulsbury’s Training department in relation to Craft Skills training and professional training. Other responsibilities include assisting with craft services functions, such as recruiting, onboarding, and record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administration of the HSE training and orientation program for Saulsbury
  • Assist with coordinating other types of training to include: Operator Qualifications, client specific training, skills training, supervisor training, and professional employee training.
  • Maintain Saulsbury’s training and certification database to include data entry, reporting, and updating
  • Manage and administer training compliance databases including, but not limited to: Energy WorldNet, IS Networld, and Veriforce
  • Provide reports of certifications completed and expiration dates.
  • Perform Urinalysis collection in accordance with Saulsbury’ Drug and Alcohol Policy
  • Conduct the training overview portion during employee orientation
  • Perform routine internal audits to ensure program compliance
  • Conduct training for project assigned employees
  • Establish positive relationships and ongoing communications with internal and external customers

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with administering or managing an industrial HSE and skills training 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, and licensing boards
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job including knowledge of industry software tools and databases
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national regulations and guidelines 
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Demonstrate initiative, adheres to the attendance requirements
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adaptable, professional, team player 
  • Ability to take direction, work well with others in a fast paced environment
